Unless otherwise excepted herein, all games shall comply with the current editions of the A.S.A. Guide and Playing Rules and Southern California ASA Rules and Regulations.

Here are the individual (by age division) Coastal Bay Girls Softball rules for 2013:

6U (tee-ball) - Click here for CBGSL 6U Playing Rules
Every batter will put ball in play & hit off tee for first part of season.
Two weeks into the season player will receive 3 pitches from coach & then hit off tee if no contact from live pitch.

8U - Click here for CBGSL 8U Playing Rules
Will use player pitching beginning with first game of season.
Parent pitch after 4 balls if no strikeout or hit off player pitcher.
Three weeks into the season, walks allowed by player pitcher.  No coach pitch unless bases loaded.

Will follow ASA Rules including: dropped 3rd strike & stealing home. Exception includes 3-4 outfielders for the 2013 Rec Season.  Infield Fly Rule is in effect.

Will follow all ASA rules.  Infield fly rule is in effect.
