Dewey played collegiate softball at USD & has since been coaching young pitchers & hitters.  She offers both private pitching & batting lessons at JP Longball & at La Jolla Elementary School.  All pitchers must always bring their own catcher.  Parents are the preferred catcher for 8Us, to help learn and reinforce the pitching technique at home.

Brianne helped out with the La Jolla Youth Softball 8U & 10U All Star team pitchers last year.  She is very knowledgeable and encouraging and has already improved many of our players.   Brianne can come to you.  Always provide your own catcher (parent is preferred), and contact her soon!

Brianne’s bio:

My name is Brianne Morales and I have been pitching for twelve years. I started playing ball at Mesa Del Sol (8U) and then went to Kearny Mesa Little League where I was the number one pitching for three years in the 10U and 12U. I then went back to Mesa Del Sol (now UC Del Sol) and played 12U where I made 14U All- Stars as a 12 and under and I pitched our team into the championship game with a No Hitter and Shut Out! I also played half of a season of 14U. I started playing travel ball when I was thirteen and my first team was JP Longball (when they had a travel ball team) for three years as a Pitcher and a First Baseman. I also played for San Diego Big Shots where I was voted Player and Pitcher of the game in our 2007 nationals in Park City Utah. In high school I made Varsity my freshman year and was the starting first baseman and second pitcher. My first year I made Second team and the last three I made First Team All American. I also led the first two years in high school with the highest batting average (.325). Now I am a freshman at Cal State Northridge and I took a break from softball to focus on my education, but I realized I miss the game way to much. I plan to get back into training this coming year and plan to walk on my third year. I have been a pitching coach for a little over 4 years. I love to teach the game to young girls who could one day become the next Jennie Finch or Cat Osterman. I am all about the basics, if you don’t have the basics down it does you no good!  I can work with your daughter for a half hour or a full hour. The hour is better because you get to learn more and more time pitching.
